Housing survey now closed

The housing need survey deadline was extended until end of April.  Your Parish Council want to be able to evidence the type of housing  the village need. If we don’t the developers will attempt to build the highly profitable large executive houses.

Is that what we want in St Margarets?

… a skewed community of one particular demographics, where the youth and young families are unable to afford to stay and our elderly are unable to downsize locally.

🏠 How to Participate:

You should have had a postcard delivered to your door which would have shown the above link (also via QR code). It is also on all the posters around the village.

  • Paper Copy: Pick up a survey at the village Post Office, which includes a pre-paid return envelope.

🌟 Who Should Participate:

  • Individuals with a housing need: Whether you live, used to live, or work in St Margaret’s at Cliffe and have a need for affordable housing or if you’re an older homeowner looking for more suitable housing (e.g., downsizing).
  • Every individual within a household with a housing need in the foreseeable future, including teenage children, should complete a survey. (ignore the 3 years specified in the survey)

We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with the Rural and Community Housing Enabling service (RACE) for a crucial Housing Needs Survey! Your input is key to understanding the demand for affordable housing for all residents and finding suitable options for our community.

Every individual within a household with a foreseeable housing need , including teenage children, should complete a survey.

How to Participate:

  • Look out for a postcard with a survey link arriving at your doorstep.
  • Visit the village Post Office for a paper copy if you prefer, which includes a prepaid return envelope.

Need Assistance When The Survey Opens? If you’re unable to get online or need help with the survey, we’ve got you covered!
