For the VE day celebration booklet – village newsletter Issue 4 please click here – it was delivered by the Royal mail after Monday 1st June. Spare copies are available in the village shop, post office and church porch.
Village newsletter Issue 3 should have been delivered to every house in the village between Monday 11th May and Friday 15th.
This is the previous leaflet – Issue 2. It should have been delivered by the postman to every house in St Margaret’s from the 27th April. Copy date was 9th April.
Parish Council Hub Update 2 Wednesday 8th April
The number of residents asking to be listed as volunteers on the Hub has increased to over 90. After an initial surge of calls for help the situation has calmed and none have been received since April 4 th. This could be because many potentially vulnerable residents are being well supported by family and neighbours. However, it is expected that demand for help will rise if the Lockdown persists over the next few weeks.
A particular concern of the Parish Council Hub is that there might be many residents living alone who would benefit from a friendly phone call from time to time. Several volunteers have specifically offered this type of support. If you know of anyone local who would welcome a call please encourage them, or help them, to get their details to the Parish Council Hub.
This is our first leaflet, copy date 26th March and distributed to every house in the village Sat 4th April by a very special delivery service. A nameless volunteer that went above and beyond.
All leaflets are sent to the printers 3 weeks before delivery so some government messages may not be up to date as advice is changing regularly.
