Double Yellow Lines in the Village

The official Traffic Regulation Order is now being advertised (21st July 2020)  on  our  lamp posts  (note:  it  includes  the  Upper road  double yellows too)

The Parish Council have now been informed by Highways that the works will be going ahead. (27th August 2020)

Results of our pole:

47 responses, 44 positives, 1 objection, 2 concerns particularly regarding enforcement (or lack of) and lots of further traffic calming suggestions.

This is a small but pragmatic step which could improve the flow of traffic and the safety of our pedestrians. With your support we could achieve something within the next few months.

Traffic Problems in st Margaret’s

Gridlock are a group of concerned pro-active local residents who are  analysing the flow/congestion of traffic in the village and are fighting  to get traffic improvements. It is working with full support of the Parish Council, but as a separate entity  they are able to think outside the box and plan big.  New members always welcome – please contact Aiden at gridlockstm@gmail.com
