Village awards

The community were asked to nominate people for 3 special Jubilee awards.

The nominees were:

Above and Beyond

Mike Parnell, Richard Hart, Jo Parness, Nursery staff,  Stephanie & John Ford, George Sutcliffe, Ian Miller (Dusty), Sam Jaenicke, Sarah Wood / Dean, Martin Hunt, Geoff Purchase, Viv Howlett, Maria Fitzgerald. Viral, Tejal, Pranshu & Darshhi

Junior Inspiration

Lewis Head, Joshua Barr

Most Inspirational

Sian Pinnock/Biggs, Dave Hart, Dawn Foulkes

All nominees received a certificate from the Parish Council. The winners received an engraved crystal.

Winners:

The Parish Council had previously nominated Stephen Noddings and Viral Joshi for a Community award. VJ was awarded and received his certificate  – picture below.

The Parish Council then decided to make 11 further awards to thank people & groups in the village who have made a real contribution.
