Potential Sites for Housing Development in our Village

The Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA)

Work is being done at DDC to provide a high level assessment of the suitability and availability of sites  for economic development in our village.

This work is for information only and comments are not being invited yet. Parish Council were informed mid March and are only now allowed to share it with our parish. There was talk of around 150 new houses!

The Council (DDC) will however be consulting on the draft Dover District Local Plan later this year and at this point the Council (DDC) will invite representations to be made.  A further call for sites will also be undertaken at this stage.
