Summer Food Voucher Support
Struggling with the cost of living? The Summer Household Support Fund is here to help.
Funded by the UK Government through the Department for Work and Pensions, this scheme is designed to support vulnerable households in Kent with the rising cost of living.
From 12pm on Tuesday 24 June 2025, eligible households can apply online for a £90 supermarket food voucher. Only one award is available per household, and funding is limited—so early application is advised. The scheme will close on Tuesday 26 August 2025, or earlier if all funds are used.
🛒 What is available?
-
A £90 food voucher per eligible household.
-
You choose the supermarket during the online application.
-
Vouchers are delivered by email (or by post if needed – please allow extra time for this).
✅ Who can apply?
You can apply if you:
-
Are aged 16 or over
-
Live in Kent (not including Medway, Bexley or Bromley)
-
Receive a means-tested benefit OR have a household income of £33,000 or less per year before tax
-
Are not receiving food vouchers through Free School Meals this summer (those are handled separately via schools)
You do not need a National Insurance number to apply, and people with no access to public funds can still apply (with supporting evidence).
